I would like to kick this off by having a look at Social Media marketing and what benefits this holds for your company.

Studies have also shown that customers are more likely to interact with your product via social media as its fun, easy and they don’t feel like you are marketing to them directly.



If done correctly and continuously social media marketing can increase website traffic and increase sales, as search engines pay attention to your social media behavior, especially links to social content and social signals such as likes and shares - not only could your social media presence impact your search engine rankings, but it’s important to note that your social media profiles will most likely show up on the first page of Google when consumers are looking for your brand.


The world is facing an epidemic and a lot of business owners are having to cut back on additional costs to save their business. So why should you even consider spending money on Social Media Marketing during these times?

I think the question here should be, “why have you not spend money on Social media marketing yet?”


The request for online content has never been higher. With everyone turning to social media and online platforms for information and solutions.


With that said, your businesses can succeed without actively marketing on social media. But the internet holds a wealth of information that you need to know about and be part of, whether you control the conversation or not. Businesses should NEVER ignore social media completely regardless of the size of the business.

A recent article indicates that more than 50% of small business does not making use of social media to market their businesses, despite the various benefits. I personally feel that if you want to be a contender you should be making use of Social Media Marketing, as this levels the playing field and allows you to enjoy the same reach as larger companies.
